About Course
The Prophet of Allah (ﷺ) said “THE BEST OF YOU IS THE ONE WHO LEARNS THE QURAN AND TEACHES IT”

This course is designed for those
– who wants to start from the very basics of recitation of the Quran with proper tajweed.
or
– who have some prior experience but wants to recite the Quran fluently with proper tajweed.
There are two learning modes available
– You may join a class with other students who are at similar level.
or
– You may learn one-on-one with a teacher.
Please Note:
Each session of “join a class” is approximately 1 hour.
Each session of “one-on-one” is approximately 30 minutes.
Course Outline
This course is divided into 3 levels depending on students experience.
Level 1 – Qaidah for familiarity with letters and syntax
Students will learn pronunciation of the alphabet, Letter recognition, Thick & Thin letters, fluency in whole words, short harakahs, tannin, stretched harakahs and letters, long harakahs, Lin, joining letters, joining with shaddah, maad, stopping, stopping symbols, fluency of words
Level 2 – Tajweed with Quranic examples
Students will learn Ta’awwudh and Basmalah, Mim Mushaddadah and Nun Mushaddadah, Qalqalah, Lam of Allah, Ra Mutaharrikak, Ra Sakinah, Full-mouth letters, Alif, Ikhfa Shafawi, Idgham Shafawi, Izhar Shafawi, Qalb, Idgham without ghunnah, Idgham with ghunnah, Izhar, Ikhfa, Madd Muttasil, Madd Munfasil, Madd Arid, Madd Lazim, Madd Asli
In addition, student will start memorization of the last 10 surahs and then juz amma.
Level 3 – Fluent reading
Students will Initiate from the 30th juz and then complete the Quran from the beginning focusing on fluently with proper tajweed.
In addition, any student who wishes will start to memorize the Quran at this stage.
Please Note:
All students will be taught the basic necessary everyday dua.
